Hi everyone. I know it’s been a few days since I’ve written. Sorry about that. Not a whole lot new has been happening. Yesterday morning I went to a foot doctor (can’t spell the technical word ) so that he could finally take a look at me two big toes. I’ve been having some problems with ingrown toenails. After a few minutes talking with him I decided to just have him permantly take care of them. This required getting 4 shots of novacaine in each big toe. Despite how much of a bitch that was…that was the worst part of it. I didn’t feel anything else, and trust me…watching what he was doing it was totally bizzar to know I wasn’t feeling it. Anyway…they are very tender and I have to soke them twice a day for about two weeks. I’ll have to stay off them a bit for a while and I probably won’t be able to take karate on Monday or do all the exercises on Thursday. Anyway…thought I’d catch you up.

It was nice to hang out with Tat and Daddy last night. We made some food and watched Fantasia 2000 while Tat did some laundry at her parents place. Tonight I’m gonna hang at home, off my feet and relax. Tat and Daddy have to run into the City to drop off a few disks and then they are going to hang over at Tat’s for the evening.

Hey! Check me out!!! I won the Two of Diamonds!!! I’m so excited. Now…how did I do it? Well…aside from getting all you cool people to vote for me, and my friends to vote for me…and having my friends tell all their friends….I pretty much camped out in a yahoo chat room called “I’ll show you my tits!” and copied and pasted a bunch a times the url and how much I wanted to win. I also updated my yahoo profile with a good pic and the url to go vote! And that…as Drew would say…is kicking yer ass! So the girls of Girl2 are now 2′s in the deck of Breasts! LOL

In other news, we went to TES tonight and sat through a very LONG and arduous election of it’s board members. There are just some people you want to smack. Course I have to say I wasn’t in much of a mood for the remarks some people were making since I’d just come from teaching the 5pm class of little kids at Karate. I gave them all pushups for misbehaving..let me tell you how many people at TES I had the urge to give them too!

On the other hand…something happened tonight at class that confirmed why I enjoy teaching so much. One of the kids, who typically isn’t totally with ya most of the time (the ceiling is usually more interesting to him) came into class with his older brother who’s also in his class. For two weeks I’ve been telling them that they have to practice pushups at home because the youngest can’t do pushups for crap. He looks like a worm drowning in water. Each time I ask they tell they’ll do it and when they come in they tell me they forgot. So when I saw them today 30 mins before their class was due to start I took them aside and asked if they’d done them. They both smacked their heads cause they’d forgotten…again. So I asked if they knew what that meant and the older said “pushups”. I told him that they had 30 mins to do 50 GOOD pushups. He was going to help his brother get better. So after some confusion of how to do this I watched him show his brother 5 good pushups, then watched as the younger did 5 totally PERFECT pushups. We were all totally stunned into silence…me, his brother, and all his classmates on the side waiting for their class. I encouraged him to continue doing them that way through all 50. He simply said he was only doing what his brother was doing. Hey..whatever works! After they were done, I stood myself infront of the younger and told him that I wasn’t going to be there for his class but I’d now SEEN him do perfect pushups and that that is what I wanted from him in the next class. I made him promise me he’d do it, even though I wouldn’t be there. I told him if he did it…Sensei would LOVE him. He said…”yeah and if I do it…I might get to black belt faster.” I totally agreeed with him. So we shook on it and I went back to help teach. Before I left they got to their pushups and though he didn’t see that I was standing in back watching…he did his pushups just like he promised he’d do them. And I was SOOO very proud of him. :grins: And this is one of the reasons I like teaching.

Sorry for the long post but I thought you’d like to hear about it.

Just got back from our evening out at dinner. It went wonderfully well and I’m a little bit proud of myself for managing to put the event together where everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Everyone said they had a good time and everyone really loved the food. We took some pictures of it so after we make sure that it’s ok with all our guests we will probably get them up for you to see! Daddy seems to be having a good birthday so far. Monday, today is the actual day. Feel free to send him a happy birthday email!

Hi gang. Just got back in from the day’s events. We went out with Daddy’s mom and Aunt to Harold’s New York Deli this afternoon for his birthday brunch. This place gives you more food then you can possibly contemplate eating. As proof Tat ordered a cheese stake and took 2/3rds of it home with her. Oh well..at least she can pick at it for the next few days. After that, Daddy, Tat, his mom and I went into the city and looked around Union Square and took some pics. As Tat said earlier it was a big peace rally. The only thing is that while it was Peace…there was alot of violence felt in it. It’s hard to explain.

Anyway, we came back home and I took a small nap before we got our stuff back together and went back to the city for a Fund Raiser at the Lure, a gay male bar that they were allowing women into for the evening’s events. We got to see SirC, gardenia, Flagg and a bunch of other friends. Daddy even got locked up a few times as part of the charity event. After that we went back to Union Square for a few and took some more pictures. The atmosphere was so totally different. It was more like a memorial service then a demenstration. While it was much sadder…I much prefered this evening to this afternoon’s trip.

We’ll be sleeping in tomorrow and then heading into Queens for Daddy’s bday party at the “Meat Coma”. I hope it all goes well. I think it’s been planned pretty carefully and I can’t see to much going wrong. I hope it’s a good evening for him.

Yo peeps! Sup? Thought I’d take a sec and say hi to everyone. I want to thank everyone who took a second to vote. As you can see if you go back and look I’ve had to well….do some campaining. I’ll let you in on my secret when the vote is in. Don’t want to give anything away ya know.

Today went pretty well. My nose is healing fairly well. It’s still tender and it itches. My left biggie toe started to have a problem again so it looks like the padiatrist for me to get them just dealt with. Weight loss is going. I’m kinda at a stand still. I’m at 165 but it’s been going between 167 and 165 for the last week or so. I think it’s water weight. But whatever. Plateaus happen. Time to get serious again about food.

Karate was ok. I had fun teaching and well…I’m getting into to being able to give out pushups when people go over the line. One of the teenagers that I get along really well with was goofing off when I was up calling the exercises. Normally I’m pretty lenient. But for whatever reason today I gave him pushups for trying to kick the guy next to him. They were just playing around but….if Sensei would have seen it they would have been in deep crap. Mike didn’t give me a hard time about it. He just dropped and did it. His friend started laughing and I told him if he didn’t watch it, he’d be next. He tried really hard to get into line. :grins:

Our school is getting prepared for a tournament on Saturday. We won’t be able to go but since we are helping others be able to go we’ve been practicing karate. Since my nose needs protecting…they’ve been letting me wear a face mask with a cage on it. Normally you can’t do that cause they say you can’t see much and it gives everyone liscense to wack you in the face as much as they can. But they’ve all been really nice about not doing that. I had to fight Daddy and he didn’t go light on me. Not that I wanted him to but he helped me realize where I wasn’t blocking by ramming his fist into my chest :smirk: so my chest is sore. LOL. That’s ok…when it started to hurt I got mad and started smacking him in the head.

For those of you who don’t know…Monday is Daddy’s birthday. I don’t know what’s going on tomorrow other then him working for a bit and us teaching, but on Saturday we are going out to lunch with his Mom, her treat. Saturday night we are going to the Lure for a bit. Sunday, Tat and I planned a birthday dinner at an all you can eat meat and salad place. The total count of people coming is 18. He’s not too thrilled it turned into a Bday party..but hey..that happens when you got two girls who care about you right?

Hi everyone. It was a decent day. I took Daddy in to work and then hit the gym. I wasn’t as energetic as I thought I would be but that’s ok. I did get an hour of weights and the tredmil total. An hour isn’t bad over all. My nose is doing fine, btw. I dropped by to say hi to Tat, did some things at home, went back out and got meds for the cats ears and took them over to Tats, then headed and picked up Daddy from work. We dropped him off at 7pm and then I headed for a therapy appointment with my new therapist. She seems very nice and we have another appointment on Oct 9th., which I just remembered is the Tori concert….so I’ll call her tomorrow and reschedule for another time soon after! Ya can’t miss Tori! Anyway…it was a good day. I”m at home doing some work and relaxing. Daddy’s over with Tat working on a document for a client. Not sure what’s going on tomorrow. Talk to you later.

Hi everyone. We stayed over at Tat’s last night and just walked back in now. Daddy and I will be heading in to teach in an hour or so. Last night while I was helping Daddy turn Tat’s matress over, we broke the glass cover over her light. It shattered all over the room and a piece came down and cut the bridge of my nose. Luckily it didn’t require stitches but we had to do a little home E.R. to get it to stop bleeding and make sure that it will heal back together nicely. I’m doing fine except for the annoying pressure of it. Looks like no karate fighting for me for a few weeks.

We just got back from Hellfire a bit ago. We all had a good time. It seemed fairly mellow. It was nice to see gardenia. I hadn’t seen her in a few weeks with her new schedule and job. She even gave me a kiss while we outside of Hellfire when I went to check on her while she was trying to make a phone call. You can’t beat that.

Not sure what the plans are for the rest of the weekend but I’ll keep you posted. Good night.

Over the last few days it’s come to my attention that internet rumors, which have spread to the “meat” world, of Nostradamus’ phrophecies are going around. The ones that are circulating are:

“In the year of the new century and nine months,
From the sky will come a great King of Terror
The sky will burn at forty-five degrees.
Fire approaches the great new city.”

“In the city of york there will be a great collapse,
2 twin brothers torn apart by chaos
While the fortress falls the great leader will succumb
The third big war will begin when the big city is burning.”
- NOSTRADAMUS 1654

I’m kinda into this type of thing, mystical things anyway, and I decided to look this stuff up just to see what I came up with. I found a site which had some interesting things to say:

“The first supposed prophecy does contain a few elements from various quatrains written by Nostradamus; however, they were not written together as one prophecy. The second “prophecy” being sent with lightning speed across the Internet is completely bogus, as far as I can tell. Incidentally Nostradamus died in the year 1566.”

The Quatraint which I thought was close was this one:

Century 5 Quatrain 65
“Suddenly arrived, the terror will be great,
The principal players in the affair are hidden away:
And the lady in the hot coals will no longer be in sight,
Thus little by little will the great ones will be angered.”

But I never found one, while searching the Nostradamus Database, about the 9th month on the 11th day. Nor did I find one about 2 great/metal/giant/iron birds taking down statues.
