It’s almost Mother’s Day and I’m here yet again asking for all of your help. Hi guys. Sorry you didn’t see me around for a few days but after romping around in the grass and cold over at Tat’s with the puppies…my cold flared up. So I’ve kinda been in a nyquil haze. I’m getting better…I was able to be awake all night. LOL

Daddy, Tat, and I went to the city tonight for a meeting on EdgePlay. I’ll talk more about it later. I just wanted you all to know I didn’t jump off a cliff.

Aren’t they just ADORABLE!!! This is Buster and Lady. Buster belongs to Tat and Lady, to her Mom. Tat took a bunch of cute pictures of them and we put them up in the member’s gallery for you to see!

Speaking of puppies…Daddy and I are heading down there in just a bit. Daddy is definitely staying over, though I’m not sure about me yet. I don’t care…I just want to play with the puppies!

Well the gift was a success. He loved it. We have to get the guy to do us another one because it wasn’t perfect. But overall he was thrilled. It came and I didn’t have to kill anyone and everyone was thrilled about it.

I’m heading to bed early because I’m getting up to help a friend with a garage sale for an hour tomorrow. She’s been giving me some legal advice (I’ll fill ya in later) so I’m going to help as part of payment. I really owe her alot more. Then we get to go see Tat and the puppies! I’m so excited!

I may be back tomorrow night and if I am I’ll see about getting up the video of my techtv debut! So…that’s it for now!

Well I have to admit, my Thursday didn’t go quite all that well. I mentioned
that one of our Sensei’s is moving to Florida. Well last Thursday we got
together and decided to get him a gift to give to him tonight. I ended up
collecting the money and making the arrangements to get the gift made and here
TODAY. It was a very last minute thing because it was hard to find someone who
could do 3d
lasering and get it here by today like we needed.

Well I got up at 8:30 this morning to park on the couch to make sure I would
hear the door when it came. Around noon, I called the guy who was shipping it to
check on it and found out that an error had been made and it had been shipped
out late Wednesday night marked GROUND…not AIR. :sigh: After much trying and a
lot of frustration we had to come to grips with the fact that it just wasn’t
gonna happen. The good news…it’s coming tomorrow (or it better). We convinced
our Sensei to come back tomorrow night even though tonight was going to be his
last night at the school. And then I had to tell everyone in my class that it
wasn’t gonna be there tonight but tomorrow.

The good news is, we had gone over 80 dollars that we could give to him to
spend on whatever he liked as well as a card signed by everyone. So we gave that
to him this evening and he was very surprised and pleased. I also got thanked by
alot of the guys for taking care of everything. They call told me not to fret,
that things like this happened.

So a few are going to try and stop in tomorrow to see the gift. The other
good side is that the novice class who wasn’t going to get to see it will get to
now. I just feel bad about how it ended up. Live and let live.

Tat and her mom got two new puppies!! They are four months old and are brother

Karate is looking like it’s getting ready to be a big part of my life. One of the Sensei’s at our school is leaving to go to Florida on Saturday. Usually, he and another Sensei take over teaching when our head Sensei isn’t there. That’s usually on Tuesdays and Fridays.

For a while Daddy and I have been going in on Friday because that’s the day that there is only one main teacher there. You have to have a black belt on the floor for insurance purposes. Tuesday and Wednesday use to be our “weekend”. But with one leaving someone needs to come in to fill up the slack and the next big dog in line is Daddy. Generally he’s got to finish up work until around 6:30 so that leaves me going in at 5 to help with the little little kids and the class after that…so it looks like things are going to get busy with us needing to help teach on Tuesday now and Friday, beside going to our regular Monday and Thursday class that we might need to help at. It use to be we tried to always go in but if we needed to we could skip it. It’s going to be harder to do that now.

On one hand…I have no problem doing that. While I’m not a black belt, I’m usually the only other reliable teacher on the floor helping. Everyone else who comes to help is sporatic. And I really like feeling important and valuable, respected. But on the other hand it’s another big commitment to an already big workload. I’m sure we’ll manage…we always do. I’m planning on writing up a journal entry about my feelings lately with karate. So keep an eye out for the info that it’s up.

ALL Tatsumi September! I know you’re gonna like it.

It was really nice outside today. I admit I slept through part of it in a small nyquil haze but when I got up it was really pretty. LOL

I hear Daddy and Tat had a really great time and I’m glad they got to spend some time alone without fear of walkins. I hung out, did a little work, and made a few dollars off niteflirt. Always nice when that happens.

Nothing big planned for this week…we’ll see how it goes as it goes. The only thing I have a date with is the [[e2:eliptical machine]] behind me. And let me tell you….it’s gonna kick my ass.

Btw…if you ever wanted to know which celebrity you looked like…find a picture of yourself and go here! It’s fun.

Tat went out [[e2:puppy shopping]] today but I heard that they didn’t pick anything up yet. She took a few pics with her phone which were adorable though.
